Mission & Values.

At RISE Relationships, Independence, Skills, Empowerment, our mission is to support children and young adults of all abilities to grow in confidence, communication, and capability.
We are committed to building relationships, promoting independence, developing essential skills, and fostering empowerment through inclusive, engaging sessions that involve families and communities.
We use Makaton and other accessible communication methods to ensure every individual can express themselves and be heard.
Through RISE, we aim to actively lead and create meaningful opportunities that help young people thrive opening pathways to volunteering, employment, and independent living, and supporting them to take confident steps toward their future.
We want every young person to RISE to their full potential.

1. Inclusion

We welcome and celebrate individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. Everyone deserves a safe, respectful space where they feel they belong.

2. Empowerment

We give young people the tools, support, and confidence to make their own choices and take ownership of their future.

3. Communication

We champion accessible communication, including the use of Makaton, so that
every voice can be heard and understood.

4. Collaboration

We believe in working hand-in-hand with families, carers, and the wider community
to create a circle of support around each individual.

5. Growth

We are committed to helping every young person – and ourselves – learn, develop, and progress in ways that are meaningful and lasting.

6. Respect

We treat everyone with kindness, dignity, and compassion, valuing their unique
strengths and stories.
